Max Lucado’s new book “Out Live Your Life” that comes out on September 1, 2010 available NOW, will help answer those questions. The book’s main focus is you are qualified for God to use you because history has shown that He uses everyday people. The requirements for you and me is to belong to Christ, be willing to be used, have a heart of hospitality, have courage to step out, boldness to speak and compassion for the poor. Max also deals with issues like breaking down the walls of prejudice and not writing anyone off as beyond hope. All of this is neatly wrapped with the reminder that God is in control of doing these things, but He will do them through us and that powerful things will happen when we pray. This is an excellent book for personal reflection or to use in a group study. It includes discussion questions listed by chapter in the back of the book. I believe that this book is Max Lucado’s finest work!

I especially like the challenge at the end of the book that states “None of us can help everyone. But all of us can help someone. And when we help them, we serve Jesus. Who would want to miss a chance to do that?”
